Focus on Life Week 5: Get Outside (Sympathy Snow)

OK, I have to admit feeling a tad guilty with this post. As I set out with my trusty iphone for a walk on Tuesday, I marveled at the blue skies, warm temps (~70) and impending sunset.

As I walked, a gorgeous sunset emerged.

When I got back home to look at the pictures, I felt a pang of sympathy for our fellow bloggies where the temps aren't nearly as cooperative. So I did some quick edits and came up with Sympathy Snow!

I know it's only make believe but my warm thoughts are with our other blogging buddies. Here's where they took walks this week:

Paula your sympathy snow made me laugh. When I was a kid looking at pictures of the desert made me think everything was dead. Now that I have been to Arizona I can feel the sunshine and hear the small creatures when I see desert photos. Arizona does have amazing sunsets.

Oh - what gorgeous shots! Especially the sunset. We do have just the best sunrises and sunsets, don't we? I don't feel guilty about those at all! LOL!! The weather sometimes, but not our beautiful skies! And, to answer your question you asked over on my post - yes, I'm going to Tucson next week for the gem show. You? Message me if you are and maybe we can meet up at one of the shows. That would be fun!

You are so funny. 'Sympathy Snow' is not quite the same though. *smile* With the wind chill, it was -30 Celsius (-22 Fahrenheit).

You are funny, you should post some desert snow shots from last winter. At least we have clouds today and just enough of a sprinkle to make my car dirty :)

What lovely desert shots. We are where we are so there is no envy involved! Thanks for the sympathy, though.

Love the sympathy snow :)
Can't dampen the glory of your sunsets, though!

Love your sympathy snow... I'm heading to tucson on Wednesday so hoping that the weather stays warm... taking pictures of snow falling is actually very difficult ... it never seems to show up!

Thank you for the giggle with the 'sympathy snow'!!! Hahaha! Gorgeous photos. Don't feel guilty - we all make our choices of where to live. Sometimes I wonder what makes so many of us attracted to the northeast with the harsh weather!
