Focus on Life Week 49: Add A Little Sparkle

Well, Sally's prompt found me at the time of the season when I am knee-deep in my ornament-making frenzy. Every year, I pick one of Sandra Halpenny's snowflake ornaments to mark the official start of my holiday beading. This year, the design was Snowflake Ornament #86.

Paula Stitches Sandra Halpenny's Snowflake #86
Last year, I got my sparkle from Sandra's Snowflake #79.

Take a peek over here to see some other fun sparkly moments.

My tree so far has one sting of lights! Need to get the ornaments you made me on there so I can photograph them! Not sure my patience goes to seed beeded snowflakes!

Ooooh, so very pretty.

Gorgeous - both the ornaments and the idea! I used to make ornaments with my son (the wooden ones from Michaels, which we painted and glittered)... but we stopped a few years back. I should think of one to make with him again this year!

Wow Paula, those are just so pretty! Love that you do a different one every year and I also like how you make the one photo to look very 'sparkly'. :-)

Paula your snowflakes are gorgeous. I made beaded angels this year. I am not in the habit of doing something over and over but I wanted my siblings to have something from me.I did a bracelet by Sandra and it is one of my favorites.

So pretty! I've done several of Sandra's snowflakes as little gifties as well...I'll have to go over and grab those, they're really pretty.

P.S. Paula, I posted the 'ornament curtains' pictures from past years if you'd like to see them :)
