Focus on Life Week 31: Hues of Blue

This will be a freaky little post. Why? I am taking Photoshop classes and thought it would be fun to combine Sally's challenge with something I learned in class.

So here is my before photo. A lovely yellow unadulterated cactus flower.

Then I start to get creative and add a yellow and blue flower!

And here's a psychedelic blue cactus flower.
This can't hold a candle to Mother Nature's version!

And for more hues of blue, check out these great contributions:

What fun! Yes, no offense to your skills, but you just can't compete with the real thing. Although it is forever fun to try in any media!

I love blue and yellow together - that's quite a striking colour scheme you've got there! Photoshop is great isn't it - hope you have loads more fun on your course!

Love your blue flower.. My cactus has it's first flower bud since we moved it here 12 years ago... guess it didn't like the 2500 mile car ride... it actually bloomed in the truck during the trip! PS the 'blue bell' in my flower collage is actually a weird clematis.

Love that you chose to do a little work with the photo editor as well....when mother nature doesn't cooperate, get creative, right?? :-)

Mother nature trumphs. That is a beautiful blue she has created. I admire you taking a photoshop class, something I always wanted to do but just haven't. I love that you applied that skill here.
